Wayne "Blue" Burns, guitarist, has been playing music all his life. You name it; he can play it. And he's a Grammy Winner to prove it! Blue is a world famous bassist, but the Blues Guitar is his thing! A native of Lafayette, LA, Blue credits Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller as two of his favorite musicians and influences. Blue has performed with many great artists, but is most famous for nearly twenty years as bassist for Clifton Chenier, the King of Zydeco. He has also performed with Ernie K-Doe, The Larks, Betty Wright, Buckwheat and the Hitchhikers, Lil Buck Senegal, Jude Taylor, Nathan and the Zydeco Cha-Chas, Walter Junior, The RoadDoctor, and a decade with C.J. Chenier, Mister Clifton's son. In his life-long career, Blue has performed in all 50United States and around the World, including South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Blue's proudest moments came in 1982 when he played bass on Clifton Cheniers Grammy-winning masterpiece album, "I'm Here!" Blue has deep regard and gratitude for all the opportunities and experiences he has enjoyed, and deep thanks to all the people of all the cities and countries he has performed in. Tee Don Landry, drummer, is pure Cajun on both sides of his family. Born in Port Arthur, TX, Tee Don's family moved back to Louisiana when he was three years old. He's been living in Lafayette ever since. Tee Don was brought up in a musical family. His father -who made the first Zydeco Rubboard for Clifton Chenier played harmonica and drums, and his older brother was a drummer who got his first drum set when Tee Don was 5 years old. Tee Don took to his brother's drum set right away, and has been playing ever since. AlthoughTee Don is World-renowned as a Zydeco rubboard player (he toured the World with Zydeco Joe, Lynn August and the Hot August Knights, and the Creole Zydeco Farmers), and as the World's premier rubboard maker. Tee Don's rubboards are in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC, but his first love is the drums! Now Tee Don has hooked up with Blue Burns -playing drums, and singing the blues.
